The Details

As the autumn season brings shorter, cooler days and the vineyard begins its annual hibernation; join us in the warmth and welcome of the Cellar Door for a pairing of our inaugural wine, Classic Cuvée, and an artisanal sharing board of cheese and charcuterie from across England, France and beyond. Boards are designed to be shared between 2 to 4 people and are a perfect way to enjoy time, and wine, with friends and family.

With a limited number of boards available, booking is required for this experience. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Any dietary requirements must be confirmed in advance.

Cheese & Charcuterie Sharing Boards

Our cheese and charcuterie sharing boards are available to book on various dates from September through to November at 13:00. Seating is available on a first come-first-served-basis for parties under 6 people.

For groups of 6 or more please contact bookings@domaineevremond.com to coordinate a reservation. Boards are recommended for 2 to 4 people.

By train:

The estate is just one hour by train from London St Pancras (via Ashford) or there are direct trains from London Bridge or Charing Cross. Our nearest station is Chilham or we are a 20-minute drive from Ashford (fast train to London). There is a taxi rank at Ashford station, however, there is no taxi rank at Chilham station and taxis should therefore be booked in advance (5-minute drive). Please contact our team for details of local taxi companies.

By foot or bicycle:

We are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, not far from the Pilgrims’ Way. Guests can arrive by foot (there is a footpath that runs through the estate) or by bicycle. Please note that the walk from Chilham village is approximately 30 minutes and along a countryside footpath. There is space to park bikes on site.

  1. What are your opening hours?

    The cellar door is open Wednesday to Sunday 10:30 – 17:30 from October to April, and 11:00 - 18:30 May to October.

  2. Are bookings mandatory?

    Yes, all our visitor experiences must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made via the website. However, guests can also taste first edition Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée on the panoramic terrace on a first-come, first-served basis, weather-permitting.

  3. Are pets allowed on site?

    Dogs are not permitted on estate tours or in the cellar door, but well behaved dogs are most welcome on the terrace for walk-ins. We ask that you keep them on a lead and clear up after them.

  4. Need to make a change or cancel your booking?

    We do not offer refunds on bookings, but if you are unable to attend a tour or tasting, your booking can be changed for the same activity on a different day, subject to availability. Notice must be given 72 hours in advance to qualify for an exchange, and all exchanges are at the discretion of Domaine Evremond.

  5. Can I leave my car overnight?

    No, cars cannot be left on site overnight.

  6. Do you have a shop at your estate?

    Yes – wine can be purchased to take home from the cellar door, along with a special selection of Domaine Evremond merchandise.

  7. Can I book a table on your terrace?

    Due to the unpredictable British weather, we do not take bookings for our outdoor tables. These tables are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  8. Can I walk from Chilham station?

    Yes, the winery is a 30-minute walk from the station. Chilham is just one hour by train from London St Pancras (via Ashford) or there are direct trains from London Bridge or Charing Cross.
