Who we are

Amongst friends

Domaine Evremond is the realisation of a shared dream between lifelong friends Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and Patrick McGrath to craft exceptional English Sparkling Wine of the highest quality.

Two men stand in a grassy rural field holding the French and Union Jack flags. The outdoor scene suggests a countryside setting with rolling hills in the background under a cloudy sky. The image conveys a sense of cooperation or celebration between French and British interests.
Our Partnership

Taittinger & Hatch Mansfield

Champagne Taittinger and partner Hatch Mansfield have worked together for over 25 years, establishing Taittinger as a leading Champagne in the UK.

In 2015, founders and friends Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger and Patrick McGrath located the perfect site for their collaboration. So began our journey to make a top-quality English Sparkling Wine that reflects the family-focused philosophies of both companies.

The Domaine Evremond story is a story about friendship: between the UK and France; between Reims and Canterbury and between myself and Patrick.

Our family has always had a great affection for the UK and for Kent - my father, Jean Taittinger twinned Canterbury with Reims when he was mayor of the latter in the 1950s.

We believe the combination of chalk soils, climate and topography of our site in Kent are ideal for producing quality sparkling wine and are very similar to the terroir in Champagne.

We are proud to be the first Champagne house to plant vineyards to grow wines in the UK in collaboration with our dear friends.
